Catch You Up

I don't know if anyone reads this, or anyone cares. But I haven't written in a while. It's post-birthday I lost my job today. So I'm a year older, and broke. In the famous words of Sarah Barrable-Tishaur/Liberty VanZandt " Why Celebrate The Passage Of Time ".. I guess she makes it easier to get older. Fifteen seems so young, Sixteen seems to old to me. I like fifteen generally a lot more than the number sixteen. I like thirteen, but thats my Scott Westerfeld craze. I bought Peeps today :) and some pre-wrap and headbands, and some jones. Also some mini m&ms, like 300 grams of them.

Alrighty, so basically I just watched " Send It On - Disney's friends for change ". Which I've posted along with this entry, I suggest playing it whilst reading on. ... Pressed play yet? I certainly hope so. It's a freaking amazing song. Well I kind of really super agree with the song! I really think friends mean the very most, that along with my family. Also " A words just a word until you mean what you say ", seriously, you can say " I'm sorry " a thousand times but it only takes one time to actually mean it. I can say " I hate you " five million times, and never mean it for real, though I want to mean it. I probably won't. Which brings me to a good topic, since that was just talking about the song. Hate. Oxfords dictionaries defenition for hate is :

1 a : intense hostility and aversion usually deriving from fear, anger, or sense of injury b : extreme dislike or antipathy

See, dates back to before the 12th century. " Aversion usually deriving form fear, anger or sense of injury" I like that we barely use words from the sixties, but we so loosly use a word from before the 12th century. I have a person that I could basically DEFINE by the previous definition I gave you. But really, in the end I actually can't say I hate her, after reason spats I want to say I hate her. But seriously, I'd like to be the bigger person and say that I can't stoop to her level. I mean I'd love to post our lovely conversation, but that's rude to all people mentioned. She's just a doll ;)

Today, I'm going to talk about someone, but I wont mention names. You may get it. It's not a love interest, though I love them very very much. They're practically everything. When I'm down they totally try to pick me back up. No matter how heavy it is. You're pretty much a huge champ. Thank you very much. We have a lot of freaking fun together, and you totally get me. Well mostly. I may have to be mean or awful sometimes to get my point across. But it's always worth it. You haven't been in my life very long (HA HA RULES OUT SOME PEOPLE), but you're everything. You do some stupid things, and do some things I don't agree with. But I love you.

Wacky Wednesday :)

So, Day 3 of my Starting Letter Day Extravaganza. I actually can't think of a good, consistent title for it. Yesterday I entered twice, and Monday three times. But that's because I had things to write about, so today I'll just explain my "Wacky" Wednesday.

It hasn't actually been wacky! I woke up at 12:38:54, said my clock. Then I got up, dragged flyers in(I do them for a little extra money). And watched tv & ate a little food. Here I am. So for all you having a WACKY WEDNESDAY, Here's a few pictures for you :)

I'm not particularily sure what this is going to be about :) But I know at the end I'm going to put a Boy Meets World clip on, 'cus I love it so much. I mean, who doesnt. You can't go wrong with that show. That or Degrassi. I kind of love sitcoms & soap operas. They're so fun! Ah, so how's everyones life. I CAN SAY EVERYONE. I'm up to five followers. Granted one is I. And my beautiful friend Ellie L has been reading :)♥. Anyvays. Yes, "Vays" like a vampire. I hate to say my life sucks, that's so dramatic. But summer isn't turning out how I exactly expected. I wanted to see my friends a little more. NOT have so many freaking lay at home till 1 do nothing all day wallow in self pity because I'm lazy. MAYBE I'M PREGNANT. Kidding. SARCASM. Man Monday :)

I know I've already posted today! But I'd like to try something new. Days of the week treats. 'Cus I was reading a friends blog and there was a link " Man Candy Monday " So I decided this week I'll do something for each day of the week, today its MAN MONDAY :)Today, to go with the " M " think Marvin " Mouth " Mcfadden, or Lee Norris as reality goes. He's funny, compassionate, kind, cute, talented and fantastic. I'm perfectly aware Mouth is a charecter on One Tree Hill. But Lee Norris is a fantastic actor! Anyone remember him as " Stuart Minkus "! Dork you have to love. Here's a quote from his Minkus days.

Your so vain, you think this blog is about you!

So today I took some awesome pictures of myself, and because I'm so vain, I want to put them up. So here it goes.

So really, I don't believe that it's vain that I would put up pictures of myself(: It's my blog. It clearly states it's freelance, well in less words. Articles & Rants & Reviews & Randoms. I just kind of feel if any ones reading this who doesn't personally know me, they should get to see who's writing. Also, I'd like to say if I find anything I have written online I will be very disappointed. I think stealing others writing is very low. Pictures however, take them. I've mostly taken them from google, if not, i've credited. Also videos - I have credited their rightful owners. :) Anyways todays, or for nows entry is solely about me. :) I'll start by saying a few things. I like tv, I watch it alot. My fav shows are Degrassi, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly place, Icarly, Jonas, Sonny with a chance. I'm awesome, I know. I like music. But I can't get into that. 'Cause I like to much, a few artists I enjoy though, would be The morning of, Demi Lovato, Hannah Montana, Nirvana, David Archuleta, Taylor Swift, The Spill Canvas, The Rocket Summer. Lots of things. Movies I really like are Harry Potter(All), Raise your voice, What a girl wants, Orphan, Milk, Dead man walking, Lord of the flies and more related things. I like school, I want to be a freelance journalist or a dentist. OR BOTH (: I like my school. I like communications technology. I'm going into grade eleven. The only class I've taken & continued by my own free will is Tech. I'm freeaking nervous for Grade Eleven College Prep Mathematics. I'm really badly at it. I'm worried I wont do well. But I just need to pass it. And I'm done math. I love english. But I guess thats enough to bore you. <3

On friends and happiness.

All good things I would relate with friendship and happiness. The pictures above are things I like to think show both. With friendship comes a bond that nobody can break too easily. Though, people try and succeed. But true friendship always comes back together. With true friendship I believe comes true happiness, and having that can easily escalade to succsess later in life. If you have good friends to back you up in your elder age, or even middle-age, hell even in your twenties. You'll have the support and love you need to be happy and do well in your everyday life. Friendship can come in a million and one ways. Often you don't recognize it. It can come as soon as your born. The strongest friendships I've encountered were chance meetings, and friends of those I met in kindergarten. To lamely quote High School Musical, " Do you remember in kindergarten,how you'd meet a kid, and know nothing about them, then 10 seconds later you'd be playing like you were best friends, because you didn't have to be anything but yourself? " That's basically the best time to initiate friendships. You can be whatever you want, but most times you end up just being you. We need more of that in the world. To restate my point of my title, and this blog. With true friendship comes true happiness, and if you're truly happy you have the complete power to become incredibly succsessful.

Ballet Shoes; A review.

Emma, Lucy and Yasmin did phenomenal jobs portraying the Fossils. Excellente. Amazing. Beautiful. Great. They played three talented orphans, two of actresses. One a rising ballerina. I'm sure you can tell by the one on the far left, Posy, in her ballet costume. I don't have very many words to say, though the word incredible comes to mind. I give it 5 stars out of 5 :)

c: Kay, so this morning, at 12:30 am, I decided it was a good idea to clean my room. Now I have a pirate ship bed, meaning it has two draws on either side then a cupboard in the middle, it stands about 3ft. Weighing about 100 pounds minus the drawers. I a 5'4, 190 pound, weakling decided I should probably move my bed in all different ways to find out if there is a good spot. Or better than my current spot. Maybe I should start at the beginning? Lately I've been in a funk with my bedroom. I'm going on 16, and I think my room looks incredibly juvenile. So this early morning, I decided to super-clean, which I wanted to do for a while. I did most of it then decided moving my huge ass bed was a supreme plan, NO, for an hour I pushed and shoved trying to find a good place, I eventually moved it RIGHT back where I had it before. I am an IDIOT. It's just half assed cleaned, because I've stopped cleaning to write this. I have a cluttered computer desk, where I do my writing & internet surfing. A super cluttered closet area. And random crap everywhere. Including a stuffed flamingo, clocks, old converse, books-a-plenty and other miscallanious items I have no clut where I got. FML! (: That's not the point. I really should think if I really enjoy something WHERE it is before I move everything around PS.

I've recently begun re-reading The Lovely Bones. It's perfect. Immaculate. I seriously reccomend it. Though if you talk to my lovely girlfriends Maegan or Christine, they'll differ in response. I blame paint fumes, my lovely art friends. So my life has been pretty great, lots of school shopping. Don't get me wrong, I don't get a lot for school. I got a really sick purple shirt with a vest. Then some cute blue and orange sweatpants. Then 5 or 6 shirts, I got them for about 5.00 each D: also I got my school binders. A backpack. New boots. Uggs. Not real Ugss. I'm not making my mom pay that much. I'll buy real ones when I get a job. Oh, It IS August, and I DID buy new boots. BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN I RIDE POLAR BEARS, WEAR FUR COATS, ICE FISH & HAVE PET MOOSES(MEESE?!) JUST BECAUSE I'M IN CANADA. I got them because it's like weearing slippers ALL THE TIME. Cool eh? Shit. Eh. Fml. Another Canadian stereotype. We also do not say "a-boot" you may hear it. But to us we're saying " about " it may be our accents. Who knows. Actually thats my next blogs theme. Incorrect Canada Stereotypes. I'm going to have to do a bit of research, and get some videos. Anyways, ttyl :)

Daring, Exciting, Intense are just some words you could use to describe " The Lovely Bones "

A few years ago I happened upon the book " the lovely bones " by Alice Sebold. I found it spectacular, though a few friends did not. Recently ( 20 minutes ago ) I found out they are turning it into a movie, which I'm estatic about, the preview looks fantastic. Which I shall add to the end of this entry.

I have scanned the first paragraph, which drew me so close to the book, and I would like to share it.

By the looks of this trailer, its quite like I expected, a lot of the charecters look correct. Unfortunatly the only one I'm not excited about is Mr Harvey. The main point. The heaven looks fairly incorrect, but It still looks really amazing, despite the fail of how I intended. I thought it would look like a big field. With a gazebo on one end. A bishop-looking school on the right side, from where I was thinking. And then I, or whoever the heaven belonged to. Behind me , or Susie, a Big tree which they talk about in the book. Which you should go read.

So maybe the elite girls arn't for me, but one of these days im going to meet a girl who really loves me and maybe she wont be what you call hot but i'll think she's beautiful and i'll tell her so. So this is a late entry, and it's sparked by my interest and adoration for a tv charecter. Marvin " Mouth " Mcfadden, Pretty much my dream guy. It's fairly weird. He's everything I want in a guy :). Compassionate, Honest, Cute, Funny, Humorous.. Theres more though. He's nice to all the girls, because he doesn't want to be mean to them. But thats irrelevant. I think its pretty sad that the guy of my dreams is a tv charecter. I mean , Lee Norris is amazing as amazing can be. I'm pretty sure I suck :)

update on life :)

anyways, quick update on my life. not much has really happend, i guess ill just start with a few days, because i havent actually wrote about my life, i've done an article on love, put on a really great video, then some pictures, then another really great video :) so its tuesday, so ill write from .. thursday, because thats the first day last week anything exciting even happened. so i hungout with taylor maegan ryan and michelle. it was fun (: maegan slept over, taylor came over the next day. ryan too. then sunday, eve slept over, :) then today! monday! this is a fail update, no capitals, i really hate grammatical & punctual errors. but im just so tired.

An article on "Love"

Love.

Whats there really to it? I believe we have the ability to love, but I think with commericalism and exploitation we really mess it up royally. When your in love, I assume I'll feel rockets and shooting stars. If its not love, I'll feel textbooks.. apples even. Things that could not be analyzed as a feeling of love. I found a few pictures, from the book "Romance" by Chris Craymer. Which I instantly fell in " LOVE " with :)

Now, I'm completely unaware if this is posed, or real lovers, but I think they all show love in a way, I'd like to experience. But as I'm fifteen going on sixteen, I'm in no real rush to fall in " Love " whatever that really is. But I'm hoping it may stumble upon me on the way. That'd be wonderful. However, to bluntly move on from my wish, I'd like to draw to the conclusion that I've only ever felt something as my own equivalent of love, which was my first " boyfriend " and he ment quite the bit, but that ended. Thus figuring out it wasn't love as much as it was lust. Which brings me to another very fascinating idea. How many people aren't really in love? But they just lust the person they are with. Love as a definition by the Oxford dictionary, one I've come to greatly rely on, is " • noun 1 an intense feeling of deep affection. 2 a deep romantic or sexual attachment to someone. 3 a great interest and pleasure in something. 4 a person or thing that one loves ". Which to me is pretty much an intense feeling. Now the Oxford dictionary defanition of Lust is " noun 1 strong sexual desire. 2 a passionate desire for something. 3 Theology a sensuous appetite regarded as sinful ". To me, they are incredibly different. Honestly, I'd rather love. By the dictionary definition.

So howdy all :) Not that I expect and or many are reading this at the moment. So today I saw " Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince " I thought it to be exceptional! The only things I didn't enjoy were the fail at the Harry/Ginny kiss. It was supposed to be after Griffyndore wins the Quidditch House Cup. Romilda's supposed to break a cup with bare hands. Then Ron, Harry & Hermione didn't walk in on Dean & Ginny snogging, Shame Shame. But they saw them in the Three Broomsticks, so its equivilence is substancial :) Then the end, Battle, SUCK! No. Fail. D; but either way, Those little things didn't stray my love for the movie! I loved it! Plus, there was so much Tom Felton I can die happy! Also, today I finished season two of the big bang theory, YAY !:) finale kinda sucked, but whatevs! I cant wait for the Degrassi TNG Movie :) Degrassi Hits Hollywood. Its gonna suck. Lol.

So basically everyone or anyone, I want to be a journalist, and I'm just writing to write here. Pretend its a weekly column following me.

I guess I'm here to document my life, because I tend to forget the little things. This is also here for your personal interest, of keeping up to date with my life. Also, I aspire to be a Journalist so I need to write as frequently as possible! So basically, I'll introduce myself, and familiarize with my self. Im Katie. >That girl above, Yes, Is me! I'd also appreciate not having hateful comments. I guess to talk about my self I could say I love movies, I enjoy watching tv alot. And making my own music. I'm pretty fantastic. This is the Centre parliment building :) I took a tour there, Magnificant! We got to do a tour of EVERYTHING! I saw the house of commons, its a lot smaller in person :)

This is The Highlander Pub, we ate here on our first night in Ottawa! My choice. I chose it because it was really nice looking, not to mention the guy in the picture playing guitar, he was just sitting there. Hired entertainment. He was fantastic. He played some RADIOHEAD! ♥

This crazy looking lady is me. You may be able to tell by the dress from the picture at the top of the issue. That would be my ticket to my 10:20 am tour with John. The cute French Major at Ottawa U. He hails from Bc & Stayed in Ottawa through the summer because working in Parliment is very rewarding.
